Double-brawl in KHL reminds us not to mess with goalies (Video)

The video above promises a “massive brawl” in the KHL, which frankly it doesn’t deliver, lest four players dancing while everyone else stands around qualifies as “massive.” Nonetheless, there’s some fun to be had here between Lada and Slovan in a game on Sunday.

It began when Slovan forward Andrej Stastny gave Lada goalie Edgars Masalskis a light cross-check when Masalskis sold like C.M. Punk. Alexander Bolshakov does as anyone named Alexander Bolshakov would do, which is attempt to pummel Stastny. But Stastny was content to put his foe in a headlock and hold on for dear life.

Meanwhile, Stanislav Romanov and Ticar Rok (awesome) engaged in a more proper exchange at the other side of the zone, with actual punches and stuff.

Check out the 30-second mark: Is that a well-timed and deceptive head-butt from Romanov in his fight? That’s some straight up Natasha Romanov brutality right there…

Everyone got their five and did their time, and Lada won the game, 2-1.
