• Sidney Crosby won "Best NHL Player" at Wednesday night's ESPN ESPY Awards. The award will join his four other ESPY's: The paperweight, the doorstop, the bookend and the thing he re-gifted to Chris Kunitz for Christmas 2011. [TSN]

The league also received a better rate on the agreement with Citigroup Inc., which was completed last month.
