Buffalo area player scores 'Michigan' lacrosse style goal (Video)

Remember the Michigan scoop and score, by former Wolverine Mike Legg? It may be the greatest looking goal scored in hockey in real-time game action. We have another, only it’s at a much lower level, which makes it that much cooler.

Check out this ‘Michigan’ goal by the Buffalo-area Cazenovia Chiefs Bantam Major AA team. (s/t via reddit user Zabra15)

Just beautiful, and very Legg-like. The other neat element about this goal? The fact that we now refer to it as ‘The Michigan’ because that was how it was popularized.

Sorry Michigan State Spartans fans, but the Wolverines now own the play, even if you have owned them in football of late.
