Bryan Bickell’s OT goal completes rally, gives Blackhawks series split with Phoenix (VIDEO)

Game 2 between the Chicago Blackhawks and Phoenix Coyotes was the seventh overtime game of the first round, and perhaps its most thrilling: The teams combined for an incredible 18 shots on goal before Bryan Bickell ended it at 10:36, giving Chicago a 4-3 win and a 1-1 series split after the Hawks lost Game 1 in OT:

It was Bickell's second goal of the game, after scoring a power-play tally in the first period. Full marks to Viktor Stalberg, who intercepted an Adrian Aucoin clearing attempt and had the puck ricochet over to Bickell for the chance in front.

Of course, Bickell would have never had the opportunity to win the game had Patrick Sharp not deflected this Brent Seabrook shot with six seconds remaining in the third period:

The game will be remembered for two things other than Bickell's heroics: For a controversial game misconduct penalty on Andrew Shaw for colliding with Mike Smith, sending the Coyotes goalie to the ice for several minutes before he remained in the game; and for Corey Crawford, who stepped up in the third period and overtime to keep the Blackhawks in the game.

Game 3 is on Tuesday in Chicago.
