Blackhawks fans throw toilet paper around Joel Quenneville's house (Photos)

So let’s say you live in Joel Quenneville’s neighborhood. Your buddy just won the Stanley Cup, which hence means you continue the tradition of throwing toilet paper all around his Hinsdale home.

Per the Chicago Tribune:

About 150 people showed up outside Coach Joel Quenneville's Hinsdale home Monday night to celebrate the Chicago Blackhawks' Stanley Cup championship.

Michaela Neal, 20, lives down the block.

"I've been here each time they've won it'" she said. "It allows the town to celebrate." 

This has happened before and was socialized in 2013 when Chicago beat Boston. Quenneville was nice enough to come outside and sign some autographs for his adoring fans.

Kind of stinks the Quenneville family has to clean up this … oh wait no they don’t. Again via the piece:

Neal said the toilet paper used to decorate the trees outside the Quenneville home would be cleaned in a couple of days by kids in the neighborhood.

Judging by some of the smiling photos, it didn’t seem like the adoring fans did this because of Coach Q’s playoff line juggling.

Via the piece, there seems to be no real sign of mischief.

A Hinsdale patrol car was parked on Quenneville's street Tuesday morning, to make sure no one blocked the street.

"It's more of a safety issue," said the police sergeant, who did not want to be named. "If anyone gets hurt, we want to make sure emergency vehicles can get through."

But police had reported no problems either Monday or Tuesday on the block. The only problem might be cleaning up all the toilet paper.

If only Quenneville lived next to a frat house. Then this could happen more than three times every six years.
