Trindon Holliday returns a kickoff 105 yards to give Broncos a boost (VIDEO)

The Broncos made the most high-profile signing of the offseason, getting Peyton Manning. Manning has been one of the best players in the league and the Broncos are in first place of the AFC West because of that.

But the Broncos have also made some subtle moves that have helped the roster, such as the one on Oct. 11 to get an explosive return man, Trindon Holliday.

The diminutive Holliday was a disappointment in his season-plus with Houston, so the Texans released him. The Broncos saw what Holliday could offer: a potential playmaker in the return game. They claimed him off waivers.

Holliday provided a huge play against the Bengals. He used his quickness and speed to break a 105-yard kickoff return up the middle for a touchdown on the first play of the second half. That gave the Broncos a 17-3 lead and was a big play in their 31-23 win.

Holliday could be a nice piece for the Broncos' special teams over the second half of the year as Denver pushes towards a division title.
