Ray Lewis’ final pre-game dance will fire you up

Doug Farrar
Shutdown Corner

If Ray Lewis maintains his stance that the 2012 NFL season will be his last, what you're about to see is the last pre-game dance from Lewis as he comes out of the tunnel during a Baltimore Ravens home game. As always, Lewis sent his teammates and the Ravens fans into a frenzy, which was obviously enhanced with the knowledge that it's probably the last time they'll see it. When the Houston Texans beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Saturday's playoff game, it insured that the Ravens could not host another playoff game after today's contest against the Indianapolis Colts.

So, when you're out on the town today, or doing stuff around the house, or just powering down that enormo-sandwich between playoff games, and you find that you're doing it with even more vigor than usual, Ray Lewis might have been your inspiration. It's entirely possible. At Shutdown Corner, we're pounding our laptop keyboards with even more intensity, just because.
