Owen Daniels headlines Texans, Bears inactive lists

The Houston Texans offense will be without No. 2 running back Ben Tate and tight end Owen Daniels when they take on the Chicago Bears and the league's most opportunistic defense on Sunday night.

Tate had already been ruled with a hamstring injury, while Daniels had been "questionable" and considered a game-time decision due to a back/hip injury. With Daniels out, Garrett Graham will play a larger role in the offense.

On defense, the Texans will be without nose tackle Shaun Cody, who was ruled out with broken ribs. Adding to Cody's pain, the veteran will lose a $39,062.50 roster bonus for not being on the 46-man gameday roster. Earl Mitchell will start for Cody.

No surprises among the Bears inactives, a list that does not include cornerback Charles Tillman, whose wife is expected to give birth to the couple's fourth child on Monday.
