Le'Veon Bell finds humor in getting 'random' drug test on 4/20

If you're unaware, 420 is a big thing in the world of those who like to smoke marijuana.

Nobody seems to know the actual origin of that, although it could be traced back to some high school students in the 1970s. But 4:20 is a time when some folks like to partake and April 20 has turned into a holiday of sorts. 4/20, you know.

It's likely you knew all of that already, and we should presume the NFL knows about it too. So Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell put this all together in his mind when he says he was asked to submit to a random drug test on Wednesday.

Bell has a history. He was arrested in August 2014 on DUI and marijuana possession charges and suspended by the NFL for two games to start the 2015 season, though that was reduced to two games.

A fan tweeted back to Bell, "Please let this man pass" after Bell said he was randomly tested, and Bell said there's no need for concern.

So it just ends up being a pretty funny story, about Bell coincidentally being tested on 4/20. Unless you believe that wasn't a coincidence at all.
