Green Bay bar taunts Adrian Peterson with sign

It probably isn't a good thing to make Adrian Peterson angry, but a bar in Green Bay is going ahead and doing it anyway before the Packers' big wild-card playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday night.

The above picture was snapped in an unnamed Green Bay bar by Keith Leventhal, a television reporter from the Twin Cities. It reads "Hey Adrian! This Is What Nine Yards Looks Like." It is presumably 27 feet long, which is the distance that Peterson needed to break Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record of 2,105 yards. Peterson finished the 2012 season with 2,097 yards.

It's a clever sign, sure, but we doubt Peterson will have time to stop by and see it.

Also, Peterson just ran for 199 yards against the Packers in a 37-34 win last Sunday, a total that included a 27-yard rumble that set up the game-winning field goal. While the Packers defense stopped Peterson short of Dickerson's record (and the end zone), it still wasn't enough to prevent Peterson from personally destroying Green Bay's shot at a first-round bye.
