The Will Ferrell Super Bowl commercial you didn’t see: Gaze upon insanity

While most of the rest of the country was atwitter over baby Clydesdales and geeks smooching supermodels, Super Bowl fans in Sherman, Texas; Ardmore, Oklahoma and Glendive, Montana got a special treat courtesy of Will Ferrell: an Old Milwaukee ad that's undoubtedly one of the most bizarre commercials ever.

Why Old Milwaukee? Why only in a few markets? Why the 'stache and hair? We can answer the third: He's filming "Anchorman 2." As for the other questions: This is part of some strange ongoing Old Milwaukee fascination Ferrell has. Here's the ad that ran last Super Bowl, but only in North Platte, Neb.:

What's it all mean? Is it funny? Who the heck knows? But we're talking about it, and that's all that matters.
