Western Kentucky leading running back Leon Allen was arrested Sunday morning and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Allen, 22, was in jail about five hours before being released.

This is Allen’s second known arrest. He also was arrested Aug. 4, 2013 for a second-degree disorderly conduct charge.

Western Kentucky said it was aware of the situation and was handling the matter internally.
