New N.C. State coach Dave Doeren hasn’t even coached a game yet, but he’s already endearing himself to Wolfpack fans with his mad guitar rifts.

Doeren (left in the video) joined N.C. State student Scotty McCreery, who is famous for winning the 10th season of American Idol, in a rendition of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues” to the delight of the ESPN College Gameday crowd that had formed prior to Saturday night’s win against rival North Carolina.
