Sean 'Diddy' Combs says he's not allowed at UCLA practices (Video)

A few months after his arrest for an alleged altercation with a UCLA coach, Sean “Diddy” Combs said in a Monday radio interview that he’s “not allowed” at any team practices.

As far as the alleged incident itself, Combs, whose son is a defensive back for the Bruins, couldn’t get into the details, but said the whole situation was a “miscommunication.”

“When you have a child who plays sports, you have to give your child up to those coaches. You have to be able to take a lot,” Combs said. “I think there’s a fine line and I think there’s times when you just have to communicate and find out what’s going on so you can be by your children’s side.

At the end of the day it’s just about communication to me. I went there to communicate. I can’t speak about anything else that happened.”

To refresh your memory, Combs is accused of going after Bruins strength coach Sal Alosi and using a kettlebell as a weapon.

UCLA reportedly did not want to pursue the case and potential felony charges against Combs were not filed in July.

Combs’ son Justin is a redshirt junior defensive back for the Bruins. He appeared in seven games combined over the past two seasons and registered four tackles.

Combs posted his support for his son and the Bruins on Instagram last week.
