Report: Oregon RB De’Anthony Thomas to miss Colorado game

Oregon's high-powered offense will take the field Saturday without one its most-feared weapons

Oregon star running back De’Anthony Thomas injured his right ankle on the opening kickoff of last Saturday’s 55-16 win over Cal and will likely miss this weekend’s game at Colorado.

Oregon coaches have a policy against discussing injuries, but Thomas admitted his injury to the media after the Cal game and Comcast Sportsnet Northwest’s Aaron Fentress reported Thomas will be out.

Thomas practiced today, but not at 100 percent according to Fentress. Fentress also tweeted a photo of Thomas in a walking boot.

Thomas, a junior, has already accumulated 338 rushing yards and six touchdowns this season. The second-ranked Ducks, a 38.5 point favorite, have a plethora of offensive weapons and should be just fine without the speedster.
