Missing Texas A&M player found safe overnight

Texas A&M tweeted out good news Thursday morning: Receiver Thomas Johnson was found overnight and is safe.

Johnson was reported missing on Wednesday and Texas A&M Police asked for help in finding him. Coach Kevin Sumlin included a statement in the police news release expressing his concern for Johnson's well being. He had not been seen since leaving his residence on Monday evening.

According to the Associated Press, Johnson's mother said he turned up in his hometown of Dallas unharmed, but she knew no further details since she had traveled to College Station to help find him.
