At long last, a Joe Paterno tribute country song (AUDIO)

Joe Paterno has been dead for more than four months, but his legacy lives on in the various tribute videos on YouTube and, of course, this tribute song.

This really bad tribute song.

Joey Welz, who is the self-proclaimed "Boogie Woogie King of Rock n' Roll" provides us with a Johnny Cash-esque twangy serenade that recaps the events that led to Paterno's and firing but maintains that nothing can tarnish his legacy.

We'll just say that it's something special.

You can read the lyrics in their entirety here.
