Krystal restaurant in Auburn starts the smack talk ahead of the BCS National Championship (Photo)

The BCS National Championship is still a few weeks away, but the Krystal restaurant in Auburn is starting the smack talk.

On Monday, the marquee of the famous burger chain had this message for Florida State:

We appreciate the word play with “Krystal” in reference to the crystal football awarded to the national champion. Well done.

This isn’t the first time the Krystal Restaurant has taunted an opponent. In October, it told Arkansas coach Bret Bielema to “shut up” after he criticized non-huddle offenses. And the Krystal even turned on the Tigers last year when they added “Tigers Beat Somebody” to the bottom of their marquee during Auburn’s 1-7 start.

With the national championship game on Jan. 6, this probably won’t be the last we hear from the Krystal marquee.
