Katherine Webb is ready for AJ McCarron to put a ring on it (AUDIO)

Katherine Webb came to one conclusion after spending the day with football's elite at the Super Bowl - she's ready for Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron to put a ring on it.

Webb gained fame after announcer Brent Musburger pointed her out during Alabama’s national championship win. Since then, she’s posed for Sports Illustrated’s upcoming swimsuit issue, she’s currently shooting a reality television show called “Splash” and she spent Tuesday covering the Super Bowl for "Inside Edition."

But she told “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” that all the fame hasn’t changed her. If anything, it’s made her feel closer to McCarron and she’s ready for the senior-to-be to ask her to marry him.

“Yeah absolutely,” Webb said when asked if she was ready to be Mrs. AJ McCarron. “It’s kind of funny because I’ve dated in L.A. and I’ve kind of like seen how Hollywood works. But when you find yourself with someone that you really can see yourself with, like, you know it. I knew in the first two weeks that we were going to be together for a long time. Love kind of takes over and you start talking about the future. So yeah, it’s definitely something that I want. I don’t see all of this fame — or whatever it is — kind of affecting how I feel toward AJ.”

Keep in mind the two have only dated since December and Webb is pursuing her modeling/television career in Los Angeles while McCarron is still in Tuscaloosa. While Webb was interviewing players at the Super Bowl, McCarron was tweeting about one of his teammates "digging in his nose" during class.

Perhaps her expectations are a tad high right now?

Or perhaps Webb feels like she owes McCarron, who might have inadvertently launched her career.

Webb told Seacrest that McCarron spoke with Musburger prior to the BCS National Championship and told him where she would be sitting so he could highlight her during the broadcast. It was Musburger’s comments about Webb, most of which revolved around her looks, that made her an overnight sensation.

“AJ knows Brent Musburger personally,” Webb said. “AJ told me not even a week ago — like freaking three weeks after it happened — that Brent Musburger had actually come up to AJ and was like, ‘So, is your girlfriend going to be here? Because I think we’re probably going to show her on television.’ (McCarron said) ‘She’ll probably be sitting with my mom.’ I was like, ‘AJ, why are you just now telling me this?’”

Like, OMG! (Sorry, couldn’t help it)

Who knows whether Webb was pandering to Seacrest or whether she really thinks she's meant to be with McCarron? I’d still be surprised if she came out of this weekend – a weekend spent will millionaire football players – still attached to McCarron.

Even if she does, they are in two totally different worlds right now. Is McCarron ready to follow in Tom Brady’s footsteps and be model’s husband (you know, without the Super Bowl ring)? Truth is, he could do a lot worse.
