Clemson receiver baptized at practice (PHOTO)

We've seen a lot of unusual things on the football field, but few will top what happened at Clemson last Thursday.

According to a tweet from Clemson's wide receivers coach Jeff Scott, receiver DeAndre Hopkins was baptized in one of the Rubbermaid tubs that the team uses for ice baths in front of his teammates following practice.

That's Hopkins there in the picture and appears as though he's still wearing his shoulder pads and everything.

Perhaps the baptism was exactly what Hopkins needed because he went on to catch a school-record 13 passes and a touchdown to help lead the Tigers to a 26-19 win over Auburn.

Clemson does not have a religious affiliation.
