BYU honors Newtown shooting victims with helmet decal (PHOTO)

We’ve seen a lot of college basketball and professional teams do various tributes to the victims of the horrific shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., and Thursday, BYU decided to do its own small tribute.

The Cougars wore decals on the back of their helmets with the initials "SHES" and a set of balloons to honor the young victims.

This is a subtle and nice tribute and it probably won’t be the last one we see this bowl season.
