Bryan Harsin to take head-coaching job at Boise State

Bryan Harsin is leaving his post as head coach at Arkansas State to take the reins at Boise State, according to sources, reports Yahoo Sports' Pat Forde.

Chris Peterson left Boise State to take the head-coaching job at Washington, leaving the position open for Harsin. Harsin served as Peterson's offensive coordinator at Boise State from 2006-10. He then served as Texas' offensive coordinator from 2011-12.

In his only season at the helm at Arkansas State, Harsin led the Red Wolves to a 7-5 record with a 5-2 mark in the Sun Belt Conference.
