Florida State, your time to be on a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car is coming soon.

Since Auburn's National Championship in 2011, Michael Waltrip Racing has honored the BCS Championship Game winners with a special paint scheme. Florida State's turn will be on July 5 at Daytona when the Seminoles will adorn the No. 55 of Brian Vickers.

Daytona International Speedway is in Daytona Beach, Fla., and it's a location departure from the last three years of MWR tributes. When MWR has run Auburn and Alabama cars, the team has used the paint schemes at Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Ala.

Michael Waltrip Racing has also done basketball championship tribute cars for Kentucky and Louisville the last two seasons. There's no Sprint Cup Series race in Connecticut, so if the team wants to do a UConn car this year, it'd have to be run at New Hampshire, the closest track to Storrs, Conn.

Jeff Gordon ran a Texas A&M car last weekend at Texas Motor Speedway and finished second after Joey Logano passed him as the final lap started.
