Bo Jackson and Cam Newton memorabilia stolen from Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium

Three Auburn students are in custody after breaking into the Auburn football locker room at Jordan-Hare Stadium and stealing thousands of dollars worth of equipment and memorabilia, including jerseys and helmets belonging to Bo Jackson and Cam Newton.

The robbery occurred on March 22 and Auburn Police said John D. Williams, 19, Nicholas J. Calvin, 18, and Zachary S. Keeler, 18 turned themselves in on Wednesday. The trio still had all of the more than $16,000 worth of equipment in their possession. The three men were charged with third-degree burglary and first-degree theft of property.

It’s a good thing the thieves didn’t forget the laundry loop.

The police said Friday they were still investigating how the trio got into Jordan-Hare, which was locked.
