Auburn signee Brodarious Hamm has lymphoma
A second member of Auburn's 2016 recruiting class has been diagnosed with cancer.
Auburn signee Brodarious Hamm, a three-star offensive lineman according to Rivals, has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family," Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said via AuburnSports.com. "He's a fine young man with a fine family. He's got a great attitude."

Hamm told Auburn Undercover that he discovered what appeared to be a knot behind one of his ears less than a month ago. He got it checked out by a doctor and was told he had cancer. He started chemotherapy last week.
“At first, I was scared,” Hamm told AuburnUndercover. “But I talked with the doctor and he said I’d be all right. He was just like, 'This is nothing to worry about. Believe in the treatment and believe in God and everything will be alright.' ”
Malzahn said the team expected Hamm to join them when he's healthy. Hamm told Auburn Undercover that he hoped to be with the team in May or if not then, in August when the fall semester begins. While his football career may be indefinitely sidelined, his prognosis makes it likely that it will continue.
“I’m feeling pretty good,” he said. “I don’t even feel like anything is wrong with me.”
Tigers signee Tashawn Manning was diagnosed with leukemia in November. He was set to enroll early at Auburn and Malzahn has said Manning's scholarship is waiting for him.
