Arizona LB Scooby Wright back in 'three to four weeks' after knee surgery

Arizona linebacker Scooby Wright is only expected to miss "three to four weeks" after undergoing minor knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus he suffered during the season opener against Texas-San Antonio, according to coach Rich Rodriguez.

Wright suffered the lateral meniscus tear in his left knee during the first quarter of Thursday night’s 42-32 win.

Rodriguez said Wright would still travel with the team while he recovers and the timetable puts him back on the field either for the Sept. 25 game against UCLA or the Oct. 2 game against Stanford.

Wright led the nation in tackles, tackles for loss and forced fumbles last season.
