Dunk of the year candidate: Chane Behahan’s vicious poster dunk

If one play could serve as a metaphor for DePaul's Big East tenure, this dunk by Louisville forward Chane Behanan is an obvious choice. Behanan stepped in front of a lazy outlet pass by DePaul's Worrell Clahar, attacked the rim and laid waste to the 5-foot-11 guard when he bravely but foolishly attempted to take a charge. The result was perhaps the most vicious kneecap-to-teeth poster dunk of the season and undoubtedly the most memorable play from Louisville's otherwise routine 79-58 victory. Referees initially called a charge on Behanan but overturned the call after looking at the video monitor and discovering that Clahar's feet we're planted in the semicircle. Thus, it goes down as "Chane Behanan made dunk" in the box score play-by-play, an understatement if ever there was one.
