Kyrie Irving, Goran Dragic confound each other with killer crossovers (Videos)

Mike Krzyzewski named Kyrie Irving his starter over Derrick Rose for Tuesday's final Team USA tuneup entering the FIBA World Cup, setting up a battle between the reigning All-Star Game MVP and Slovenian Third Team All-NBA point guard Goran Dragic, and the two took turns embarrassing each other.

Irving went behind-the-back to cross up Dragic before leading with his right hand and switching to his left on a layup that made quick work of aptly named former Raptors center Uros Slokar.

In equally impressive fashion, the lefty Slovenian double-crossed both Irving and All-Star Anthony Davis for a layup of his own. Even normally game defender Kenneth Faried was confused by Dragic's Magic.

In the end, Irving got the best of the matchup in a 101-71 U.S. blowout, scoring 13 points on five shots in 24 minutes to Dragic's foul trouble-induced six points on 11 shots in two fewer minutes. Davis led Team USA's effort with 18 points, nine boards and five blocks while Faried added 14 points and eight rebounds.

Dragic bros Goran and Zoran (16 points) had their hands full, since the U.S. also features former MVP Derrick Rose (0-3 FG) and Second Team All-NBA point-turned-shooting guard Stephen Curry (10 points).

As for Irving, his wizardry only reinforced Krzyzewski's decision, even if the coach said the Cavalier will split starting duties with Rose. Yet another reminder everything is coming up Cleveland this summer.
