Finally, the Manu Ginobili tribute song we've all been looking for (Video)

Manu Ginobili has been such an important figure in the basketball world — for "The Golden Generation" of the Argentine men's national team, for Italy's Kinder Bologna (with whom he won two Italian League Most Valuable Player awards and a Euroleague Finals MVP during a three-year stint) and, of course, for the San Antonio Spurs — in a professional career that has lasted nearly two full decades. It can be difficult to know how to appropriately applaud and appreciate a player of such wonderful skills and with such an impeccable résumé and such grand accomplishments.

Luckily, Kevin Russell of the Austin, Texas-based musical outfit Shinyribs has gotten his When In Rome on and thought of the right words to say. Without further ado: "Manu Ginobili."

Perhaps not quite as delicious as the long-haired Manu cake we saw once upon a time, but still it's quite a tasty tune. I particularly enjoy the comparison of Ginobili to "a hyena on a trampoline." (I'm sure Chris Bosh is somewhere nodding his head right now.)

Hat-tip to Lang Whitaker of All Ball.
