Here's one of those moments in baseball where it doesn't matter which team you root for or where you live, everybody will be happy to see who wins. And if you're not, you must be a Sith.

There was a foul-ball scramble at Thursday's San Francisco Giants-Milwaukee Brewers game. Lots of fans had their hands in the mix hoping to take home a souvenir. We know what usually happens in these moments. Adults win. Nice adults, of course, give the ball to a kid. But not all adults are nice adults.

So that's why you're going to smile when you see the result of this foul-ball scramble. After things calm down, a little girl thrusts the ball into the air, as triumphant as can be.

Life isn't always going to let you win, kid. But when you do, that's how good it feels. Savor it.
