After helping bring a second world championship in the past three seasons to the city of San Francisco, it appears World Series MVP Pablo Sandoval is making the rounds at Bay Area sporting events hoping to spread that Giants magic around a little bit.

Just last week, the Kung Fu Panda showed up at Oracle Arena for the Golden State Warriors' 106-96 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Before leaving, he even revealed which Giants teammate can dunk a basketball. Hint: It wasn't Sergio Romo.

On Sunday, Sandoval tweeted a photo of himself at Candlestick Park sporting a custom-made 49ers jsersey with "Panda" occupying the name slot and the usual 48 for the number. The 49ers presented the jersey to him in a special pregame ceremony.

Perhaps fittingly, the 49ers opponent was the team representing the same city the Giants eliminated in the NLCS, the St. Louis Rams. Just like that NLCS, the NFC West rivals went the distance to determine a clear and decisive winner. Only, they didn't, because sometimes football games — once every four years or so — end in a tie.

I don't know how, but they should really try to fix that.

Anyway, the only major professional sporting venue left on Sandoval's Bay Area tour would seem to be the HP Pavilion in San Jose to catch a Sharks game, but I hear he might have to wait awhile to scratch that one off the list.

Oh well, I guess that's just more time to drive around the city in his brand new 427 Corvette Convertible.

To the victors goes the spoils, indeed.
