Pedro Martinez wants his Jheri curl on his Cooperstown plaque
Many things were amazing about Pedro Martinez — his stats, his changeup, his interviews and, as he'll even admit, his hair.
We joked Tuesday, after the 2015 Hall of Fame class was announced, that Randy Johnson should go in cap-less and just his mullet flow. Well, Martinez told reporters Wednesday that he definitely wants his famous Jheri curl on his Cooperstown plaque.
Who could blame him? Look at this thing.
Pedro has reined in the curls a little bit these days, but a reporter from TMZ Sports asked Martinez on Wednesday whether his Hall of Fame plaque should come with the Jheri curl. He's on board. Under his cap, of course.
"I wish. It was great. It was amazing. That's how people pretty much saw my face all the time."
We can argue about a lot of things related to the Hall of Fame, but no one should argue this one: Pedro Martinez needs to have a Jheri curl on his Cooperstown plaque.
