By all accounts, Boston Red Sox's infielder Yoan Moncada is an exciting prospect. The 19-year-old received a $31.5 million signing bonus during the offseason, and immediately shot to the top of prospect lists.

You would think a player of that caliber would draw a lot of attention from die-hard fans. That's not necessarily the case.

Moncada made his stateside debut Monday during an extended spring game at the team's complex. The game was attended by team officials, one scout, one sportswriter and one fan.

That fan, Tony Medina, even offered up a scouting report on Moncada, according to the News-Press.

"With that bat, he might be ready," Medina said. "But he has some work to do with his glove."

For what it's worth, Moncada hit a stand-up triple in his first at-bat. He started the game at second base.

There you have it. Red Sox super-fan Tony Medina says Moncada "might be ready." Who are we to argue with his opinions? He's literally the only fan to see Moncada play in the United States.
