The Nolan Ryan-Robin Ventura fight, as imagined in the world of RBI Baseball

We've had a lot of RBI Baseball-related content on Big League Stew over the years from chatting about the classic video game with Matt Holliday to a rapper who samples the catchy theme song to the guy who recreated Game 6 of the '86 World Series on the platform.

This latest addition is just as sweet as any of those as Dee-Nee.com (the essential website for any fan of the old 8-bit Nintendo game) reimagined the famous 1993 fight between Robin Ventura and Nolan Ryan and put it in a screengrab.

You have to take a little leap of faith to really appreciate it, of course. The Rangers and White Sox weren't teams in the original 1987 version of the game and while Ryan was the game's best pitcher, he happened to be on the Houston Astros. Plus there was no button to push or routine to follow to incite a charge-the-mound brawl like there was in Bases Loaded.

Still, this is just fantastic — and probably the entire reason the Internet was invented.
