Magic Johnson presents: His first Dodgers bobblehead doll!

Say hello to Magic Johnson and his little friend, also named Magic Johnson. The new face of the Los Angeles Dodgers, whose group took ownership Tuesday, posted the image of him and his bobblehead doll to his WhoSay page. Now, before Dodgers fans get too excited, The Stew asked the team if this bobblehead were part of a promotional giveaway, and the answer is no.

The Dodgers don't have a Magic bobblehead day planned, but that doesn't necessarily mean they won't, said Joe Jareck of the team's media relations department. It makes sense that they wouldn't yet, seeing as Magic just got the keys to Dodger Stadium and all. But there certainly would be a demand for a Magic bobblehead with the Dodgers, so don't be surprised if one pops up on the schedule — certainly by sometime next season.
