Kevin Pillar helps Blue Jays fan propose to girlfriend before postseason game

When he isn't making highlight reel catches or participating in postseason games, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar is helping facilitate the biggest moment in the lives of local couples.

Or least that's what he was doing on Thursday. Before taking on the Rangers in Game 1 of the ALDS, Pillar assisted one Blue Jays fan who proposed to his girlfriend at Rogers Centre.

But all Pillar is doing is holding a sign, you might be thinking. And the woman this man named Darryl is asking to marry him isn't even there.

That's true. But the photo was a big part of the proposal.

See, there it is.

We're pretty sure Darryl's now fiancee Katie would have said yes anyway, but there was no way she could say no once Pillar got involved. It's a nice gesture too from Pillar just to play along. It's a memory that will mean a lot to the couple, especially to Darryl.

Congratulations to the happy couple! And better luck to Pillar and the Blue Jays as they attempt to battle back from an 0-2 ALDS deficit in Texas.
