Justin Upton hit a homer so far the opposing pitcher threw his glove in disgust (Video)

Justin Upton hadn't homered coming into Thursday's Atlanta Braves game. But when he finally got the ball flying out of the yard, he did it in style. Upton hit two homers against the New York Mets, the second of which was a massive blast to left field.

The ball traveled 477 feet, according to ESPN's Home Run Tracker, the second longest homer of the season, seven fewer feet than Giancarlo Stanton's big blast over the weekend. And while Upton's homer was impressive, it's not the only reason to watch the highlight above. Come for the huge homer, stay for Mets starter Jenrry Mejía's reaction when he saw his pitch crushed.

Mejía jumped up and down, tossed his glove in disgust and then put his head down and pouted while he went to pick up his glove. It was quite funny. There was good news for Mejía, though. After Upton's third inning homer put the Braves up by one, the Mets rallied to score three runs and win the game 6-4.

Mejía didn't get a loss. One less reason to punish his glove.
