Fernando Rodney's arrows have consequences in M's latest commercial

Seattle Mariners closer Fernando Rodney is one of the few players in the league to feature a game-ending celebration. After securing a save, Rodney will launch an invisible arrow into the sky.

At least, we thought the arrows were invisible. As the Mariners' latest commercial explains, Rodney's arrows are real, and they can have serious consequences.

There you have it. Rodney's "air arrows," as Nelson Cruz calls them, exist, and Rodney uses them to torture opposing fans. Also, props to Logan Morrison for dropping a "bro" in there. He seems like a natural.

For the past couple seasons, the Mariners have done a fine job producing strong commercials. The club put out four new spots this year, all of which can be watched here. The Rodney spot is the best of the bunch, in this writer's opinion.

If the M's play like everyone expects, Rodney will be sending a ton of "air arrows" around the country very soon. While it's safe to shoot a few of those to Oakland, he may want to reserve a few for Los Angeles as well.
