Exclusive: Jeffrey Maier talks with Yahoo! Sports

Jeffrey Maier won't be attending any of the ALDS games between the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles this week and for good reason. The 28-year-old is the father of a newborn son and there's simply no time for him to travel down from his home in New Hampshire.

Maier did, however, have time to grant an exclusive interview with our Yahoo! Sports video team about the controversial play in Game 1 of the 1996 ALCS that made him a hero in New York, a villain in Baltimore and one of the most famous fans in baseball history.
