Bryce Harper hits huge homer in Toronto (VIDEO)

Is there any doubt that Bryce Harper and Mike Trout have officially become the story of the 2012 season? Surely even the most cynical of doubters must have felt moved over the last 24 hours which featured Trout figuring into all of the Angels' runs in a 3-2 victory over the Dodgers on Monday and then Harper introducing himself to Canada on Tuesday night with this absolute mammoth home run to center field at Toronto's Rogers Centre.

Honestly, this is getting way too fun and the only regret is that both are in different leagues, which robs us of the possibility of having one of the best Rookie of the Year debates ever.

Harper's blast was his seventh of the season and gives him one more on the season than Trout. But give the Angels' rookie a little bit of time. With the Dodgers-Angels game still yet to get underway as of this writing, we're sure that Trout has a response up his sleeve.
