Bryce Harper cuts mohawk for awards show

Here's how the discussion regarding Bryce Harper and his haircut usually goes:

Observer 1: "Somebody ought to tell him that something died on top of his head."

Observer 2: "Hey, get off his back. He just turned 20 years old. Didn't everybody get unusual haircuts in those days?"

And ... scene. Apparently, the 2012 NL Rookie of the Year decided that "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was one thing, but the BBWAA awards was another. So Harper made an adult decision and got his dome coiffed like a boss for the presentation of the Jackie Robinson Award. Looks like Frank's Chop Shop in New York City does splendid work, too.

That's not to say that, come spring training, Harper won't have something alien on his head again. He's still a 20-year-old.
