A.J. Burnett and Corey Hart are bigger Batman fans than you
The season hasn't even started yet, but the Pittsburgh Pirates already lead the league in something. No team in baseball has a bigger collection of Batman fans than the Bucs.
Pitcher A.J. Burnett's love of the "Caped Crusader" has already been documented.
Love my job! Visiting Ashton's school. There were some amazing costumes! #TDK #mybuddy pic.twitter.com/XJ11J1lQHn

That's dedication!

Now, though, Burnett may face some competition from his new teammate Corey Hart. While wearing Batman socks, Hart detailed the various Batman-related memorabilia he owns during an interview with MLB.com.
Yeah, Corey Hart isn't messing around. He not only owns original artwork from Batman creator Bob Kane, but he also has 100 action figures still in their boxes.
When asked about whether he and Burnett would duke it out over who is the bigger fan, Hart said he believes Burnett is "underestimating" his collection, and he's probably right. That's an impressive amount of memorabilia.
Hart also mentions his "costume" during the interview, suggesting there could be a Batman on Batman rumble at some point on the mean streets of Pittsburgh.
In signing Burnett and Hart this offseason, Pittsburgh didn't just get the teammates it deserved, but the teammates it needed.
