Rouyn-Noranda took a 2-1 series lead against Québec last night, and among other issues for the Remparts, they're having to deal with an anemic powerplay. In two losses for the Remparts this series, they're 0-for-6 with the man advantage and have given up a shorthanded goal. (Le Soleil)

Some credit given out to Émile Poirier who scored both Gatineau goals last night in the Olympiques 4-2 defeat against Halifax. He was a couple of inches away from the hat-trick. Those two Poirier goals are the only ones scored in Gatineau's series against Halifax, who have been frustrated by CHL goaltender of the week Zachary Fucale. (La Presse)
