No. 1 star: Anthony Duclair, Quebec Remparts (QMJHL)

Duclair (1G-3A, +3) had perhaps his strongest game since rejoining the Remparts in January, leading Quebec to a 5-2 road win against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. Duclair set up a first-period goal that erased an early Huskies lead, then took a pass from Jérome Verrier and scored a short-handed gaol that gave the Remparts their first lead. The New York Rangers prospect also had the primary assists on tallies by Massimo Carozza and Ryan Graves that helped Quebec pull away.

No. 2 star: Logan Fisher, Victoria Royals (WHL)

Fisher (4A, +4) had a career night as the Royals gave a crowd of 6,867 a thrill by taking down the league-leading Kelowna Rockets 5-2. Normally a checker, Fisher turned playmaker to help the Royals rebound from a last-minute loss to Kelowna on Friday. The 19-year-old Red Deer, Alta., native assisted on only Royals goal of the first two periods. In the third, Fisher assisted on goals by Jack Walker (1G, +2) and Taylor Crunk (2G, +2) that staked the Royals to a 4-2 lead. Just or good measure, Fisher assisted on an empty-netter with 2:23 remaining.

No. 3 star: Maxime St-Cyr, Baie-Comeau Drakkar (QMJHL)

St-Cyr (3G, +3) became the first Quebec league's first 50-goal scorer with a natural hat trick in Baie-Comeau's 4-0 win over Sherbrooke. The overage forward scored late in the first period to stake the Drakkar to a 2-0 lead, then scored goals 93 seconds apart in the third to put the Phoenix away. Dzmitry Ambrozheichik (3A, +3) assisted on all three of St-Cyr's salvos.

Honourable mention: Alex Barré-Boulet, Drummondville Voltigeurs (QMJHL)

Barré-Boulet (2G-1A, +1) and Michael Carcone (1G-2A, +1) kicked their games up a notch to help Drummondville, which has been slumping, upset Rimouski 4-3. The 17-year-old Barré-Boulet scored twice in the first period to give Drummondville a shot of confidence. By the third period, Rimouski led 3-2, but Barré-Boulet did some heavy lifting to set up Carcone's tying goal. The Voltigeurs, who got 38 saves on the night from Joe Fleschler, kept Rimouski at bay and got the game-winner with 3:35 left in the third.

Potent notables — Projected NHL first-round choice Mathew Barzal (3A, +5) led Seattle to a 7-0 win against Everett ... Payton Lee made 33 saves in Vancouver's 1-0 shutout against Kamloops ... Jayce Hawryluk (2G-2A, +3) had his second multi-goal game in a row during Brandon's win against Saskatoon ... In the OHL, Connor McDavid (2G-3A, +4) increased his point streak to 21 games during Erie's 8-2 win against Peterborough ... the line of Jared McCann (2G-2A, +2), Michael Bunting (1G-3A, +3) and Sergey Tolchinsky (4A, +2) combined for 12 points in Sault Ste. Marie's win against Kitchener ...  In the QMJHL, Winnipeg Jets first-rounder Nikolaj Ehlers (2A in Halifax's 2-1 win against Charlottetown) ran his point streak to 31 games ... Maxim Lazarev scored his 30th during Cape Breton's 3-2 win against Victoriaville ...
