Muhammad Ali surprises grandson at state title game
The nation's top-ranked high school football team Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) won the Nevada state title game this weekend, easily marching to a 70-28 victory. They did it with "The Greatest" watching from the stands.
Boxing legend Muhammad Ali surprised his grandson, Bishop Gorman sophomore Biaggio Ali Walsh, by attending the game.

"I didn't know he was coming," Walsh told MaxPreps. "It was a complete surprise. I looked back in the stands and just saw a big cluster of people. It was awesome. He made me want to play harder. I did it for my team and seniors, but I really wanted it badly for him."

Walsh, the son of Rasheda Ali-Walsh, scored twice in the game, crossing the goal line on 34- and 91-yard carries. He racked up a total of 137 yards on just four carries in the game.
Cordell Broadus, son of Snoop Dogg, also had two touchdowns in the game. His dad and Ali, who lives in Scottsdale, Ariz., caught up in the stands, Ali wrapped in a Bishop Gorman blanket. It's hard to tell what Snoop Dogg said, but it seemed to put a smile on Ali's face.

It was the final high school game for Broadus, a Rivals.com 4-star wide receiver who's being recruited by the likes of Florida State, Oregon and UCLA. The team finished the year 15-0, outscoring opponents 776-184.
