Graham DeLaet handles Masters missed cut as well as anyone

Before the week began, a lot of people thought Graham DeLaet would have a chance to be the low rookie at Augusta National. It was the Canadian's first go around Augusta, and if you looked at the way he played over the last few months it seemed he might have a chance to do something special this week at only his third major championship start.

That didn't happen, as DeLaet had an absolutely horrible start, making seven bogeys over his first 10 holes on Thursday, eventually shooting a birdie-free 80 in his first career round at the Masters.

The 32-year-old had a much better showing of it on Friday, posting a very respectable even-par 72, and while he would miss the cut by a country mile, it was his tweet on Friday night that explains just how special it is to get an invite to this championship.

DeLaet will have plenty of other chances to improve his showing at Augusta National, but it is that of attitude that makes DeLaet such a popular player.
