Five second round Accenture match play winners we like

The golf world rarely gets a chance to pick round match-ups and actually see the guys go head-to-head with one winner walking away. Match play does that, and this week at the Accenture we get to see the best in the world take over the desert in Marana in hopes of escaping match after match victorious. Each day we will pick a few matches we like against the spread. We continue with the second round with the odds via our buddies at Golfodds.com.

Favorites this week -- 2-1
Underdogs this week -- 1-1

Webb Simpson (-145) over Peter Hanson -- It was an easy first round for Simpson, who cruised past David Lynn for his first ever Accenture win, but confidence is a big part of this event and it seemed Simpson has a ton of it early on at Dove Mountain. Hanson was losing most of the day in his match against Thomas Bjorn and while he did catch fire on the back nine, I don't see a slow start boding well for him against the reigning U.S. Open champion.

Graeme McDowell (-125) over Alexander Noren -- Simply a talent pick here considering the rather small number for McDowell, who had a tough match against Padraig Harrington but the type that kickstarts your week in a positive way. I think McDowell makes it pretty far in Marana and it continues with a convincing win over Noren.

Bubba Watson (-125) over Jim Furyk -- Furyk has advanced past the second round once in the last eight years, and Bubba seemed to find his form after the slow delay pushed his match to Thursday.

Robert Garrigus (+120) over Louis Oosthuizen -- Garrigus made six birdies in 15 holes in his first round win over Branden Grace and is the type of player that gets hot and doesn't let it slip for days on end. I thought Oosthuizen had a chance to lose his first round match, and was 2-down at one point on the back nine, and while I love Oosthuizen most of the time, I could see him dropping this match against a red-hot Garrigus.

Rafael Cabrera Bello (+145) over Martin Kaymer -- It took extra holes for Cabrera Bello to upset Lee Westwood, but I feel like this number is way off for his match against Kaymer.
