You read that headline right.

Curling team puts on its pants with no hands.

While the serious side of the competition continued to play out on the ice, the Continental Cup's notoriously fun side showed its colours again on Saturday night, in Calgary.

Team Europe's Tomas Ulsrud took time during a break in his game with Canada's Brad Jacobs to gather his team in front of the crowd, where they dropped their trousers to their ankles. Then they delighted that crowd by putting their pants on - without using their hands - while Europe's "The Final Countdown" played over the arena speakers.

Here you go:

It Looks like that would take a little practice to perfect. Begs the question: Why would you practice that? (Yes, that is jealousy speaking)

Ulsrud and his teammates, the 2014 World champions, are very well known for their pants. While the Continental Cup competition sees them wearing conservative black trousers, they are most often seen in wild patterns.

At some point, being the undisputed, forever reigning kings of eye-popping sartorial splendour just wasn't enough, I guess, and they embarked on scaling the David Letterman 'Stupid Human Tricks' mountain.

It's something they've done before, for one of their sponsors - Comfyballs underwear.

It's just another example of the terrific fun that interjects during Continental Cup competitions. On Friday, Manitoba's Mike McEwen pulled of a remarkably successful spinarama shot.

There seems to be even more room for light hearted hijinks at this year's event, what with Team Canada being comfortably in front for most of the way and seemingly on track to win it all when the competition wraps up on Sunday.

After Saturday night's games - including Ulsrud's romp over Jacobs - Canada leads Europe by a score of 22 points to 8.

First team to 30.5 points wins the Continental Cup.

However, Ulsrud and his team may have already clinched the Continental Cup of Shimmying for Europe.
