Kaylyn Kyle and Canadian teammates show off dance moves in Edmonton drug store

So you think Canada’s national women’s soccer squad only flashes fancy footwork on the pitch? An online video of four team members busting their best dance moves inside an Edmonton drug store this week suggests otherwise.

While they were all business in eking out a hard-fought 1-0 victory in their Group A FIFA Women’s World Cup opener over China, a quartet of Canadian teammates kicked it up a notch, so to speak, when they put on a show while on a shopping excursion.

Kaylyn Kyle (seen first in the video), Selenia Iacchelli (holding the microphone), Robyn Gayle (holding a mop) and Melissa Tancredi (pushing the shopping cart) put on a crowd-pleasing performance.

It’s Kyle, who posted the video to her Facebook page, who gets the proceedings started, strolling in to view with her with Canadian counterparts, before dishing out some serious moves.

Soon after, the others, wearing red hoodies, join in the show and provide the customers and drug store employees with a short, but memorable, production number. Seems the impromptu performance impressed the drug store, which - in a post on Kyle's Facebook page - invited the Canadian players to drop by the store and pick up some free audio gear.

Judging by the flood of Facebook comments, the athletes will be pleased to know they received rave reviews for their act. No invitations yet, however, for a future appearance on Dancing With the Stars - giving their archrival Americans additional fodder in the bragging rights department.

.

Now, they’ll look to deliver another memorable moment come Thursday night, when they take on New Zealand and look to clinch a spot in the tournament’s playoff round.

Your move, Canada.
