Gonzaga's Kyle Wiltjer lands Sports Illustrated cover

The fine play of Kyle Wiltjer and his Gonzaga Bulldogs this season has landed the 22-year-old forward on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Wiltjer leads the Bulldogs in scoring with 17.4 points per game. Gonzaga, currently No. 2 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and No. 3 in the AP Top 25, appears poised to grab a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament next month.

As a regional cover, the magazines Wiltjer is gracing will be received by subscribers and newsstands in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Idaho, and Nevada.

In another nod to his great year, Wiltjer and Gonzaga teammate Kevin Pangos were named among the 14 finalists for the Oscar Robertson Trophy on Thursday,, which goes to the college player of the year.
